Your home and your local area are your dog's territory and that is where he/she wil feel most secure and usually where most behavioural issues occur. I will come to your home to provide expertise and a first class personal service to help you to resolve any issues that you have.  The training is tailor made to your dog's personality and to fit in with your lifestyle.

Your dog will be more relaxed and more receptive to learning and by beginning the training at home, greater trust is generated allowing for speedier and a more effective resolution of the issues, with none of the stress, distractions and learning problems typical of a group-training environment.  I only use kind, calm methods - no pinning, touching or yanking.

Obedience Training

A full tailor made programme for dogs of all ages and breeds; sit, down, loose lead walking, attentiveness, distance control and recall training.

Behaviour Therapy

Any behaviour issue catered for:- Aggression to dogs, visitors or family members; food and fear aggression; sibling rivalry; separation anxiety; jumping up; pulling on the lead; biting mouthing or nipping; inappropriate toileting; poor recall; destructive behaviours such as stealing, digging or chewing; chasing cats, squirrels, horses or other livestock; boisterousness; nuisance barking, howling, crying or similar; escaping; item obsession or possessiveness; phobias or just plain and simple disobedience! 

Puppy Training 

Our customised puppy management programme includes fast track toilet training, general obedience, walking to heel, sit / stay, stopping the naughty behaviour before it starts i.e. jumping up, stealing, scratching at doors, mouthing and chewing. I will show you how to achieve good recall and distance control - so essential to keep your pup safe.

Your Bark Busters Trainer and Behaviourist will work with you from the comfort of your home to address any problems, putting in place the necessary training and behaviour modification program to resolve your dog behavioural issues. You will be guided with expert hands on tuition with the prescribed techniques required to resolve and maintain control of any issues. You will continue to receive on-going training and support as required until the results achieved meet your personal satisfaction. If, throughout the life of your dog, you find that you need further help with the training, your therapist will return free of charge to your home for any necessary follow-up training sessions to re-establish the result or to address any other issues.
